The Cyprus Non-Dom & Corporate Relocation Package
Setting up a Cyprus company, registering your residence and obtaining Non-Dom status follow a clear sequence. This page takes you through all four steps in the order they happen, showing what to expect, what we need from you, and where our team takes over. It also covers the ongoing services that begin once your company is live and you hold the Yellow Slip.
Step 1 Free Consultation and Online Letter of Engagement
Free consultation
Our team offers free consultation. This is available both before and after we form your company and relocate your residence.
Your Green Light to PMG
To set up your company in Cyprus, we'll need a signed letter of engagement, which you can provide by completing the online formation and relocation form on our website.
To register your company, we generally need:
- A copy of your identity document (ID card or passport).
- A current utility bill (electricity, water or similar proof of address).
- A bank reference letter.
- A short personal CV.
The law requires these documents under KYC (Know Your Customer) rules, so they are essential. We need them for each person who will be a shareholder.
We also need at least three name suggestions for your company. The relevant register checks the names, which usually takes up to five working days.

Step 2 Your Residence and Non-Dom Status in Cyprus
Your home and place of business in Cyprus
To file the formation documents with the Department of the Registrar of Companies & Intellectual Property, we need your private address in Cyprus. Once that address is in place, we start the company registration and complete the necessary steps. We then guide you all the way to setting up your tax residence in Cyprus. On request, we are also happy to help you find a suitable property to rent or buy, whether an apartment, house or villa.
Two practical setups for home and office
Your company in Cyprus needs a place of business with a room that locks and suitable furniture. The two setups we usually recommend are:
- "Two in one”, a two-bedroom apartment which provides office and living space together: one property with a living area, kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and a separate office room at the same address. From around EUR 800 per month.
- Living space plus a separate place of business: two separate addresses, one for your private home and one for your company's office. With this setup, you can also rent out your private home for short periods when you are away, which can cover some of your running costs.
The "two in one" setup is not the right choice if your private home or villa with pool is only for personal use, and perhaps short-term rental while you are away. For that case, our "Private Office" and "Serviced Office Cube" solutions give you the flexibility you need. Our team is glad to talk you through the options.
Place of business by company type
- A trading, consulting or service company generally needs little more than a separate lockable room equipped with a phone line, internet and a desk. For this, we recommend either the 'Two in One' option or a living space with a separate place of business.
- A Cyprus holding company has even simpler needs: a lockable room of any size, with a phone, internet and a desk, is usually all that's required. The same recommendations apply.
- Production or trading-in-goods company: you do not always need a dedicated warehouse or production site on the island, as long as there is a sound logistical reason. Otherwise the same recommendations apply.
We deliver this service through a trusted partner. If you would prefer to buy a property in Cyprus, our team has no contractual ties to any developer or estate agent, so our advice is genuinely free and independent. If you're considering a purchase, talk to us.
Employment contract and social insurance number in Cyprus
To register your residence in Cyprus officially, you generally need a valid employment contract. This is signed between you, the employee, and your company, the employer. After a thorough consultation with our tax advisers, we prepare a contract template for you that only needs your signature.
You also need to register with the Social Insurance Department to register your residence in Cyprus. We handle this on your behalf once the employment contract is signed. You do not need to do anything yourself.
Letter of employment
This is a written confirmation from your employer. It states that you are genuinely in an employment relationship with your company, with social insurance. We are happy to prepare this confirmation for you.
Cyprus mobile number
You will also need a Cyprus mobile number. The main mobile providers in Cyprus are CYTA, EPIC, Cablenet and PrimeTel. A prepaid SIM card is generally all you need. You can buy one at any kiosk ("periptero") and use it straight away. SIM cards start at around EUR 2.50-3.00. We are glad to help if needed.
Preparing your application at the immigration office
We carefully prepare every form and application you need for your registration. On the day of your registration, we give you a folder with all the required documents, evidence and forms.
The day of your registration in Cyprus
Once we have completed the steps above together, we book your appointment with the relevant immigration authority in Cyprus. We are with you in person on the day, so your registration is generally quick and simple. With the MEU1 form (Yellow Slip), you are officially registered in Cyprus and can then apply for your Non-Dom status.
Applying for your Non-Dom status in Cyprus
You now hold a personal tax number, a social insurance number and the Yellow Slip — your proof of residence in Cyprus going forward. You also meet every requirement to apply for Non-Dom status, with your certificate arriving a few weeks later once processing is complete.
